ตั๋วรถไฟที่ได้จะเป็นตั๋วใบเล็ก บอกแค่วันที่ ต้นทาง Padang Besar ปลายทาง Butterworth และเวลาซื้อตั๋วเท่านั้น เวลารถออกให้สังเกตหน้าจอบอกเวลา คำว่า B’WORTH ว่าอยู่ที่ชานชาลาไหน โดยปกติจะจอดบนชานชาลาที่ 2
ขอเตือนล่วงหน้าว่า ตั๋วรถไฟที่ซื้อมาเก็บรักษาไว้ให้ดี จนกว่าจะถึงปลายทาง เพราะเมื่อถึงสถานีบัตเตอร์เวิร์ธ จะต้องคืนตั๋วให้เจ้าหน้าที่ หากไม่มีตั๋วต้องเสียค่าปรับอีก 30 ริงกิต (230.50 บาท)

ระหว่งรอเวลาก็เดินไปที่ร้านค้าด้านในสถานี จะมีของขายที่จำเป็น เจอปลั๊กไฟแบบสามขาแบน มีขายอันละ 6.50 ริงกิต (เกือบ 50 บาท) ส่วนซิมการ์ดมาเลเซีย มีขายเฉพาะเครือข่าย U Mobile ราคา 30 ริงกิต (230 บาทเศษ) ซึ่งถือว่าแพง 
แต่สัญญาณมือถือจากไทย ทั้งเอไอเอส ดีแทค และทรูมูฟเอช เข้าถึงสถานีปาดังเบซาร์ได้ แถมสัญญาณแรงกว่าฝั่งมาเลเซียเสียอีก ยังพอมีเวลาท่องเน็ตและทำธุระส่วนตัว เช่น จองห้องพักโรงแรม ก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยนซิมการ์ดระหว่างอยู่บนรถไฟ

รถไฟระหว่างปาดังเบซาร์ไปบัตเตอร์เวิร์ธ จะเป็นรถไฟชานเมือง (Commuter) ตัวรถเป็นรถไฟฟ้าปรับอากาศ ทำความเร็ว 80-120 กิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมง ให้บริการวันละ 14 เที่ยว เปิดให้บริการเมื่อปี 2557
ตัวรถไฟฟ้าจะเป็นรถไฟฟ้าชุด EMU Class 92 รับไฟฟ้าจากสายส่งเหนือหัว คล้ายแอร์พอร์ตลิงก์บ้านเรา แต่วิ่งบนรางระดับดิน ตลอดเส้นทางเป็นรถไฟทางคู่ มีรั้วรอบขอบชิด ทำความเร็วได้เต็มที่ ไม่มีรถหรือคนตัดผ่าน
แม้รถไฟฟ้าจะดูเก่าไปบ้าง หลังเปิดให้บริการมาแล้ว 5 ปี แถมมีมือดีปากระจกภายนอกจนแตก ยังไม่ได้เปลี่ยน แต่ภายในขบวนรถยังสะอาด แอร์เย็นสบาย ที่สำคัญเสียงแจ้งเตือนให้ระวังขณะก้าวออกจากรถ ยังมีดนตรีประกอบอีกด้วย

รถไฟออกจากสถานีปาดังเบซาร์ มุ่งหน้าสู่สถานีบัตเตอร์เวิร์ธ ระยะทางราว 170 กิโลเมตร แบ่งเป็นช่วง ปาดังเบซาร์-บูกิตเมอร์ตาจัม (Bukit Mertajam) 157 กิโลเมตร บูกิตเมอร์ตาจัม-บัตเตอร์เวิร์ธ 12 กิโลเมตร
แวะรับ-ส่งผู้โดยสาร 11 สถานี สถานีสำคัญ ได้แก่ สถานีอลอร์สตาร์ (Alore Setar) รัฐเคดาห์ (Kedah) บ้านเกิดนายกฯ มหาธีร์ มูฮัมหมัด มีหอชมเมืองอลอร์สตาร์ ทาวเวอร์ หรือจะเป็นสถานีซูไงเปอตานี (Sungai Petani) ที่เป็นเมืองใหญ่

เกือบ 2 ชั่วโมงเราก็มาถึงสถานีบัตเตอร์เวิร์ธ เห็นสะพานและท่าเรือล้อมรอบ ลงจากรถไฟขึ้นไปด้านบนชานชาลา คืนตั๋วให้พนักงาน แล้วเดินลงมาด้านหน้าสถานี จะมีบรรดาโชเฟอร์แท็กซี่ยืนรออยู่ พยายามชักชวนให้ขึ้นแท็กซี่
แต่มีคนบอกว่า ให้เดินผ่านไปเลย เพราะท่าเรือเฟอร์รี่อยู่ไม่ไกล เดินไปตามลูกศรเท่านั้น

บริษัททัวร์ต่างๆ แนะนำให้นักท่องเที่ยวอย่าหลงเชื่อรถแท็กซี่ ที่จอดอยู่ตามสถานีรถไฟ สถานีขนส่งรถปรับอากาศ หรือตามสนามบิน เพราะแท็กซี่มาเลเซียมักจะคิดค่าโดยสารเกินราคา และแพงเกินจริง

เมื่อเดินไปตามทางเดินสักพัก จะเข้าสู่อาคาร “ปีนังเซ็นตรัล” (Penang Sentral) ศูนย์กลางคมนาคมขนส่ง ชั้นล่างจะเป็นชานชาลารถทัวร์ ส่วนชั้น 2 จะเป็นช่องขายตั๋วโดยสาร ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร และทางเชื่อมไปยังท่าเรือเฟอร์รี่
เรือเฟอร์รี่ข้ามไปปีนังมีชื่อว่า “แรพิดเฟอร์รี่” (Rapid Ferry) ก่อนอื่นต้องซื้อตั๋วโดยสารคนละ 1.20 ริงกิต (ประมาณ 9.25 บาท) เจ้าหน้าที่จะให้สลิปที่มีคิวอาร์โค้ด ให้นำไปสแกนเพื่อเปิดประตูคล้ายรถไฟฟ้า แล้วนั่งรอเวลาเปิดให้ขึ้นเรือ

ใช้เวลานั่งเรือเฟอร์รี่จากฝั่งบัตเตอร์เวิร์ธไปยังปีนัง ประมาณ 15 นาที เรือจะจอดที่ท่าเรือบริเวณจอร์จ ทาวน์ (George Town) ย่านเมืองเก่าของเกาะปีนัง ส่วนขากลับไม่ต้องจ่ายเงิน เดินขึ้นไปรอเรือเฟอร์รี่มารับกลับได้เลย
ระหว่างนั่งเรือเฟอร์รี่ มองไปทางทิศใต้ ไกลสุดลูกหูลูกตาจะเห็น “สะพานปีนัง” (Penang Bridge) ยาวถึง 8.4 กิโลเมตร มากที่สุดเป็นอันดับ 2 ของมาเลเซีย และอันดับ 5 ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ กลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์คู่เมืองปีนังไปแล้ว
ในที่สุด ก็ใช้เวลาข้ามวันข้ามคืน มาถึงเกาะปีนัง มาเลเซียเสียที

.. America bronze age - Easy Rider

 America, in the midst of paranoia, bigotry and violence. Released in the year of the Woodstock concert, and made in a year of two tragic assassinations (Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King), the Vietnam War buildup and Nixon's election, the tone of this 'alternative' film is remarkably downbeat and bleak, reflecting the collapse of the idealistic 60s. Easy Rider, one of the first films of its kind, was a ritualistic experience and viewed (often repeatedly) by youthful audiences in the late 1960s as a reflection of their realistic hopes of liberation and fears of the Establishment.

The iconographic, 'buddy' film, actually minimal in terms of its artistic merit and plot, is both memorialized as an image of the popular and historical culture of the time and a story of a contemporary but apocalyptic journey by two self-righteous, drug-fueled, anti-hero (or outlaw) bikers eastward through the American Southwest. Their trip to, but also through areas where local residents are increasingly narrow-minded and hateful of their long-haired freedom and use of drugs. The film's title refers to their rootlessness and ride to make "easy" money; it is also slang for a pimp who makes his livelihood off the earnings of a prostitute. However, the film's original title was The Loners.

     The names of the two main characters, Wyatt and Billy, suggest the two memorable Western outlaws Wyatt Earp and Billy the Kid - or 'Wild Bill' Hickcock. Rather than traveling westward on horses as the frontiersmen did, the two modern-day cowboys travel eastward from Los Angeles - the end of the traditional frontier - on decorated Harley-Davidson choppers on an epic journey into the unknown for the 'American dream'.

According to slogans on promotional posters, they were on a search:

Their costumes combine traditional patriotic symbols with emblems of loneliness, criminality and alienation - the American flag, cowboy decorations, long-hair, and drugs.
